David Pollock, Chief Executive at ICS Service Solutions and Magda Robertson, General Manager at Torrens Connect unveiled the new autonomous robotic cleaner coming into service at Torrens Connect’s tram depot yesterday. ICS continues to lead the way in bringing new innovations to the cleaning industry with this new Robot. The new autonomous cleaner moves throughout the depot each night in a pre-programmed manner ensuring that facilities are clean for the next day, before returning to its docking station for a well-earned sleep.
David Pollock said “the autonomous robotic cleaner is an innovative product for a future-facing cleaning industry. It increases productivity by handling monotonous tasks, freeing up the team to focus on more skilled and complex tasks. ICS is currently incorporating robotics in its operations in Australia, New Zealand and Singapore to help bring efficiency and improved health and welfare into the cleaning industry”.
According to Magda Robertson “Everyone around the depot has been quite curious about the robot, which just goes around and keeps the place clean, tidy and presentable. During a pandemic, it is great to see technology that advances our commitment to provide a healthy and safe environment for our staff. Thank you, ICS, for thinking outside the square with this new innovation.”
The team at Torrens Connect are determining a suitable name for their new Robotic member of the team.
